Embark on a compact 3-day journey through three of Northern Tanzania's most diverse and rewarding wildlife destinations. From the elephant herds and ancient baobabs of Tarangire to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and the tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara, this safari offers incredible variety in a short time.
Best visited June to October for optimal wildlife viewing. All transportation, meals, accommodation, and park fees are included. Starts and ends in Arusha with airport transfers included.
Our tour guide driver will pick you up from the lodge or airport with a picnic lunch box and start a fantastic journey to Tarangire National Park. The park is well known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, consisting of diverse landscapes from seasonal swamps to savanna.
The Tarangire River is the only source of water for wild animals during the dry season, making it an incredible spot for wildlife congregations. You may see lions stalking prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above.
After breakfast, depart to Ngorongoro for a game drive inside the crater. Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Africa's natural wonders â the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world.
Home to approximately 30,000 large mammals year-round including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and the endangered black rhino. The variety of birds includes flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be ready to see many animals in a short time.
After breakfast, depart to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives. Famous for its arboreal (tree-climbing) lions hiding among branches, and numerous colonies of baboons that accompany you from the moment you enter.
The park also features diverse bird species, hot springs, and stunning landscapes. After the game drive, transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey.
